The Intelligent Eggshell

The Intelligent Eggshell Lamp is a porcelain nightlight that combines hand-made eggshell porcelain with voice control. The shade is formed through more than forty working procedures, repeated fettling and carving, and three firings, giving a wall thickness within 1 mm. The light is switched on and off by voice, so the hands stay free. The design aims to revive a traditional folk craft.

Aggregate

Aggregate is a collection of three floor lamps made from recycled and discarded materials. Each lamp is built on a welded skeleton formed from discarded steel scraps. The body is sculpted by hand from a mixture of concrete, silica sand and shredded plastic bottles, applied over a thin alkali-resistant fiber base. The concrete mixture is worked like clay rather than cast in a mould, so each lamp has its own texture and silhouette. LED tube bulbs supply the light, and a step switch at the base turns each lamp on and off. The collection aims to give urban waste a new use.

Iris

Iris is a small table lamp that provides indirect lighting. The lighting system allows control of the light intensity and regulation of the light beam directed upwards. The metal parts are made of carbon steel and stainless steel, shaped by laser cutting and turning. The dome is made of ABS plastic by three-dimensional printing and can be undocked to change the bulb.

It can be of two types: standard and elongated. Lamps are available in several colors with varying degrees of transparency. Tying with nylon ropes adds a handmade effect to the lamp. Its universal form was to determine the simplicity of manufacture and mass production. Saving in the production process of the lamp is its main advantage.
