ON the table

This is an arcade-styled video game console to play vintage video games from the 80's and 90's, and it is dedicated to adults who grew up with those video games in their childhood. However, having a normal video game console could ruin the ambience of your sophisticated living room. Here is a solution. This is not just a game console, but it transforms to a stylish modern coffee table when it is not played.

LHM kindergarten

LHM Kindergarten is an interior design for a nursery school in Tokyo, Japan. The 230 square meter space holds three rooms, two Lake rooms and a Hill and Mountain room. Stainless steel mirrors cover the ceiling of the Lake rooms and reflect the changing natural light and the children at play. A green hill can be used as seating for a concert, a stage for a play or a stand for an exhibition. Colored furniture can be climbed, used as chairs or entered like a cave or a cabin. Color gradations on the walls follow tones drawn from nature.

Exocet

Exocet is a multifunctional chair made of Baltic birch and aluminium. The chair is built from a series of identical curved slats assembled around a central cylinder. The use of one basic slat shape supports an efficient fabrication process. Exocet can be set in several configurations, including a standard chair, a rocking long chair and a folded form. To change the shape, the user releases the pressure with the handle, moves the sections around the cylinder and tightens the handle again. The result is a chair with many positions and very few parts.

LED Lamp

5x5

The story about the 5x5 LED lamp comes together with the 5x5 chair introduced and awarded previous year. The chair's unique material characteristic required tiles’ dimensions of approximately 5x5 cm. Therefore the same dimensions were the starting point for the lamp. In order to avoid the direct form's repetition the 5x5 cm is applied in a form of rhombus, the main modular structure part of the lamp. Several lamps mounted together offer the possibility to create different lighting patterns like zig-zag, diagonal line, the shape of an arrow, or other shapes by using designer's own creativity.
