Flowerblock

Flowerblock is a shelf designed to serve as both storage furniture and a room divider. The design is inspired by flower blocks, concrete units with geometric openwork patterns used in Okinawan architecture, which filter strong sunlight while letting air pass. Gaps between the boxes give the shelf a light and open appearance. Stainless steel rods connect the boxes for stability, solid white ash supports the load-bearing points, and plywood reduces the overall weight. The shelf has no back panel, so it can be placed against a wall or in the centre of a room.

Taneya Club Harie

Taneya Club Harie is a retail store located inside a department store in Kusatsu, Shiga, Japan. The store brings together traditional Japanese confectionery brand Taneya and Western patisserie brand Club Harie in one space. The design follows a single concept of strata, expressing layers of time. Ceilings and fixtures are formed by layering precisely cut wooden panels shifted by millimeters. Solid chestnut wood and lacquer mark the Taneya side, while light laminated plywood marks the Club Harie side. The flowing curves guide visitors deeper into the store and ease congestion.

Luminous Serenity

Luminous Serenity is a residential interior design in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The apartment was created as a calm retreat for a young student of medicine. The design follows the philosophy of wabi-sabi and uses natural materials such as stone, wood, and plaster. Daylight enters through timber louvers, so light and shadow shift through the day. Eco friendly plasters, driftwood, tree bark veneer, and seamless flooring were applied over the existing base to reduce waste. Minimal demolition keeps the original layout, while an open kitchen island links the living and dining areas.
